Hi, I am Gracie and the founder of Thrive Christian Parenting!

After welcoming my second little boy, the desire to be the Mum my children deserved—the one I had always imagined I would be—clashed with the weariness that greeted me each morning. I often found myself unsure of how I would survive the day ahead. But I truly believe that God calls us not to merely survive but to thrive in this incredible season of parenthood.

I knew the only way I was going to be the Mum I wanted to be was to rely on the strength, kindness, and wisdom that God offers. However, with my hands so full, finding the time, let alone the mental space, to read my Bible felt impossible—just another item on an already overwhelming to-do list.

I realized that to meet the needs of my family, I needed to find a way to look after myself each day. Having experienced first-hand the incredible power of meditation and the importance of grounding oneself in mindfulness, I grew tired of being told to clear my mind and that all I needed to succeed was within me. I knew that wasn't true. Instead, I wanted to spend time filling my mind with scriptures and encouragement from God because I believe that all I need to thrive is found in Him!

As a busy Mum, I'm all for multitasking and hitting two birds with one stone. So, I thought how wonderful it would be if I could combine a moment of mindfulness with quiet time with Jesus, and to use scripture to help me reclaim joy and peace in parenthood.

This journey led me to create 'Thrive'. This app is a labour of love for all the parents out there striving to raise children who love Jesus and who want to enjoy their season of parenthood. My prayer is that 'Thrive' will refresh, encourage, and sustain you, empowering you to live each day as the parent you aspire to be. Because I believe we all deserve to thrive in parenthood and that Jesus has all we need to do so.
